Deubiquitylases (DUBs) are proteases that reverse ubiquitin modifications and thereby regulate protein turnover as well as the assembly of protein interaction networks. DUBs perform the daunting task of selectively recognising and countering specific ubiquitylation events at different sub-cellular localisations.

This meeting is the second international meeting on DUBs and is unique in its focus on this class of enzymes, bringing together researchers to discuss molecular mechanisms, cellular functions and physiological roles of DUBs.
International leaders in the field will come together in a setting aimed at fostering collegiality and collaboration. In addition to invited speakers, a number of short talks will be selected from submitted abstracts.
