PhD position, 3 to 4 years

Patricia Boya, whose lab will move to the University of Fribourg in August 2022, is seeking for a motivated PhD candidate to join her team and study the role of selective autophagy during neurogenesis, why selective autophagy is frequently altered in neurodegenerative diseases and the relationship between autophagy and cell death.

Methods: The applicant should have a master’s degree in cell biology or neurobiology. Experience with primary cell culture, confocal microscopy and image analysis will be appreciated.
Starting date: September 2022
