Desirable skills include proteomics, protein biochemistry, and Arabidopsis/Marchantia genetics.
• Functional investigation of tissue specific autophagy dynamics using our recently established toolbox.
Desirable skills include Arabidopsis root biology and live cell imaging.

Successful candidates will have expertise in the areas outlined above as demonstrated by first author papers or preprints. Priority will be given to postdocs who have identified independent funding sources and are prepared to apply.

The GMI is part of the Vienna BioCenter, a research campus located near the center of Vienna, routinely ranked one of the world’s most liveable cities. English is the working language, including in the on-campus day care center. Lab members will be supported by the Vienna BioCenter Core Facilities provide cutting edge services in proteomics, microscopy, protein chemistry, molecular biology and plant growth.
