2018 Young Life Scientist (YLS) Meeting on Genome Stability
Date: November 22-23, 2018
Location: Amphitheatre of Genopolys, Montpellier, France
This two half-day symposium, entitled “Genome Integrity: A Lifetime’s Challenge”, is organized by a group of PhD students and Post-Docs from the Institute of Human Genetics (IGH) in Montpellier, and is under the patronage and sponsorship of the UK-based Biochemical Society.
The meeting focuses on the cellular processes that take place at the level of the genetic material, from the generation of gametes to the development of a mature organism. Consequently, this subject covers a wide range of chromatin-related processes and therefore allows the meeting to attract a broad multidisciplinary audience.
Registration is now open and is free of charge !
This conference is organised by and for young researchers, so we strongly encourage PhD students and Post-Docs to present their work in the form of oral or poster presentations. This meeting will be a great opportunity for young participants to present their work to a broad audience, find new research opportunities, start collaborations, and expand their networks. Awards will be given to the best short talk and poster.
At the moment we are in the process of advertising the symposium, so we would be grateful if you could pass this message on to any colleagues or university departments that might be interested in our conference.
It is also possible for you to participate in the job exchange by sending us possible postdoctoral and PhD positions offered by your research center in order to make them public on our web page.
