I am a final-year BS–MS research student in Cell Biology and Immunology at IISER Berhampur, India, with practical research experience in host–pathogen interactions. Currently, I am conducting my Master’s thesis research on the host cell perturbations induced by SARS-CoV-2 and its natural variants (Wuhan Strains). My focus is on intracellular trafficking, lysosomal pathways, and viral egress, utilising fluorescence microscopy, quantitative image analysis, and molecular biology methods. I have experience in imaging-based analysis of cellular organisation during infection, and I am eager to expand my expertise to include autophagy-related pathways, downstream cellular signalling, and cell biology. I am motivated to pursue a PhD in fundamental cell biology and disease research.
